Privacy Policy

The Exuma Cays is an independent travel guide operated by TikiTram LLC. We are not a tour operator, booking engine, or travel agency, and we do not process bookings or take payment.

Only what you type into a form. If you request the travel guide we collect:

• Your name and email address, which are required.
• Your mobile number, which is optional and only used if you ask for rate alerts.
• Whether you ticked the consent box, together with the exact wording shown to you at the time, the date and time, and the IP address the submission came from.

We store the consent wording verbatim rather than a simple yes/no, so there is an accurate record of what you actually agreed to.

We do not ask for, and do not want, payment card details, passport or government ID numbers, or any special-category personal data.

• To send you the guide you asked for.
• To send occasional travel offers and updates, which you can stop at any time.
• To keep a record of consent, which we are required to do.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Some outbound links are affiliate links. If you follow one and make a booking, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Those links route through this site first so we can count the click. We pass no personal information to the partner — they receive only the fact that a visit came from this site, plus whatever their own systems collect once you arrive, which is governed by their privacy policy and not ours.

This site currently serves no display advertising and runs no third-party analytics or tracking cookies. If that changes — for example if we introduce Google AdSense — this policy will be updated before it goes live, and the section will say plainly what is being collected and by whom.

Submissions are stored in Amazon Web Services in the United States, encrypted at rest, in an account used only for this purpose. Email is sent using Amazon Simple Email Service. Access is limited to the people who run this site.

Until you ask us to delete it, or until the address stops being deliverable. Consent records are kept for as long as we hold the contact record, because they are the evidence of your permission.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. If you are in California, the CCPA/CPRA give you rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. If you are in the UK or EU, the UK GDPR and GDPR give you equivalent rights, including the right to complain to your supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these, email hello@da.eventuremap.com. We will not make you create an account to ask.

Every marketing email has a working unsubscribe link, and we act on it immediately rather than within the ten business days the law allows. For text messages, reply STOP. Unsubscribing from marketing does not delete your record — ask us if you want that too.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has submitted details, contact us and we will delete them.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be notified by email to anyone affected.
