The Exuma Cays is an independent editorial guide published by TikiTram LLC. We are not a travel agency, tour operator, or booking platform. We do not sell trips, take payment, hold funds, or enter into any travel contract with you.

Some links on this site are affiliate links, meaning we may be paid a commission if you book through them, at no extra cost to you. This is disclosed on the pages where those links appear.

Commission does not determine what we recommend. Where an operator or property is listed, it is because we think it is worth considering — but you should do your own checks before booking anything.

When you follow a link and book, your contract is with that operator or booking platform, on their terms, not ours. We are not a party to it. Cancellations, refunds, changes, complaints, and service quality are entirely between you and them.

Travel information dates quickly. Operators change, boats are repaired, properties close, and prices move. We write in good faith from the best information we have, but we do not warrant that anything here is current, complete, or correct at the moment you read it.

Always confirm directly with the operator before you rely on it.

Much of what this site describes takes place on or in the sea, around wild animals, in a remote archipelago with limited medical facilities. Currents, tides, and weather can be dangerous, and conditions at a given site vary hour to hour.

Nothing here is safety advice or a substitute for the judgement of a licensed captain or guide who is present and can see the conditions. You are responsible for your own decisions, your own fitness for an activity, and your own insurance.

Parts of the Exumas are inside a no-take marine reserve where taking anything — including shells and sand — is prohibited and enforced. Feeding or handling wildlife is restricted at several sites. Follow the rules of the place and the instructions of your operator.

You agree not to:

• Copy or republish substantial parts of the content without permission.
• Scrape or harvest the site in a way that degrades it for others.
• Submit anyone else's personal details through the form.
• Use the site for anything unlawful.

Text and page design are ours. Photographs are licensed from their respective photographers and are not ours to sublicense.

To the fullest extent the law allows, TikiTram LLC is not liable for loss, injury, cost, or disappointment arising from your use of this site, from information found here, or from any booking made with a third party. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the last substantive revision, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
